BACOLOD City – Police nabbed a “high-value” suspect in a drug sting in Barangay 6, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Five sachets of suspected shabu valued at around of P5, 000 were seized from 37-year-old Claire Pontino, police said.
Pontino – resident of the said village – was arrested after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P400 around 4 p.m. on Dec. 17.
Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone and cash which amounted to P613 were also confiscated.
The suspect was brought to the Victorias City police station, where he was detained. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
