BACOLOD City – Six suspected drug peddlers were nabbed in two separate sting operations in this city.
Suspected shabu valued at around P26,000 was seized from Eduardo Glorial, 44; Reynaldo Ayuse, 24; Jean Silangan, 28; Arnaldo Gidaya, 55; and Ronald Segovia, 42, a police report showed. They were caught in Barangay 12 around11:30 p.m. on Jan. 19.
An undercover officer initially bought from the suspects a sachet of shabu for P300.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 1.
Later that night, police also apprehended another drug suspect in Barangay 19.
The 20-year-old resident Princess Abanilla yielded three grams of suspected shabu valued at around P45,000, a police report showed.
Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, a P500 marked money and cash amounting to P700 were also recovered. Abanilla was brought to Police Station 4 where she was detained.
