Hacking lands man in hospital

BACOLOD City – For warning his nephew about curfew, a man was hacked in Barangay Bi-ao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.

The 44-year-old resident Bernardo Regino sustained hack wounds on the neck and left arm, police said.

Tagged suspect was Regino’s cousin Frank, 44, the police added.

According to police investigators, Bernardo warned Frank’s son not to roam around the village during curfew hours around 8:30 p.m. on March 28.

This annoyed and prompted the latter to stab the former using a cane knife.
