BACOLOD City – He shot himself, police said.
The 50-year-old Timoteo Igma committed suicide in his residence in Barangay 19-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Igma was found by his brother Buenaventura with a gunshot wound on the head around 4:35 p.m. on April 4, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Igma was suffering from depression and left a suicide note prior to shooting himself.
The victim’s body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post mortem” examination.
Officers of the Victorias City police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
