ILOILO City – An 80-year-old woman facing an illegal gambling charge was arrested in Barangay Calala, Hamtic Antique.
Police identified her as Basilia Samillano, a resident of the village.
Armed with an arrest warrant, the Hamtic police staged Samillano’s apprehension on May 18 at around 10:40 a.m.
The suspect was taken to the Hamtic police station.
The court recommended a P5,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
