ILOILO City – In a hospital was where a laborer landed after he got stabbed in Barangay Boulevard Molo district.
The 46-year-old Jhon Balmetero was recuperating at the Iloilo Doctor’s Hospital in Molo district. He sustained stab wounds on the different parts of the body, a police report showed.
The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Limuel Nietes, it added.
Accordding to police investigators, the incident happened around 6 p.m. on Monday.
Balmetero and Nietes – both residents of the village – figured in a heated argument.
However, it was not immediately established what triggered the altercation.
Officers of the Molo police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
