ILOILO City – Police nabbed a man for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Durog, Miag-ao, Iloilo
An improvised .38-caliber revolver with two live bullets was confiscated from 35-year-old resident Robert Mondragon around 5:30 a.m. on June 26, police said.
Mondragon’s apprehension was staged on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Nelita Jesusa Bacaling of the Regional Trial Court Branch 67.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Miag-ao municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against him./PN
