San Carlos’ No. 6 most wanted person caught

BACOLOD City – He was listed as the No. 6 most wanted person in the police station of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The 25-year-old Julius Escanillan was caught on the strength of two arrest warrants in Barangay 5, San Carlos City around 2 p.m. on June 29, a police report showed.

Escanillan – resident of the village – faces charges for robbery and theft, it added.

Police officers served the warrants issued Judge Arville Delgado of the Regional Trial Court Branch 57 for the crime of robbery and Judge Jose Meno Ruiz of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities for the crime of theft.

The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the San Carlos City police station.

The two courts recommended bail bond worth P48,000 and P10,000, respectively, for Escanillan’s temporary liberty./PN
