BACOLOD City – A senior citizen was shot dead in Barangay Gatuslao, Candoni, Negros Occidental.
The 64-year-old Jemuel Prasio of Barangay Manlucahoc, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental sustained a gunshot wound on the back, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Prasio was sitting alone on a bench when he was shot by an unidentified suspect around 11:47 p.m. on Aug. 14.
Prasio was brought to the Candoni Health Center for a “post-mortem” examination.
