BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drunken man for possessing illegal firearm at Hacienda San Jose Valing in Barangay Libacao, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
A .45-caliber gun loaded with four live bullets was seized from 33-year-old resident Johnrey Octavio, a police report showed.
Cops were alerted about Octavio by concerned citizens who spotted the suspect with the firearm around 7 p.m. on Sept. 6.
Octavio failed to show pertinent papers showing his legal ownership of the weapon, police said.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Himamaylan police station, facing charges./PN
