BACOLOD City – Police nabbed a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 5, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 33-year-old suspect Jerald Depaclayon was a resident of Purok Malinong, Barangay 5, a police report showed.
An undercover cop initially bought from the suspect a sachet of suspected shabu for P3,500.
Seven more sachets of the prohibited substance estimated to be worth P47, 600 were seized during Depaclayon’s arrest around 12 p.m. on Oct. 6.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station, facing charges or violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
