ILOILO City – A man was arrested in an antidrug operation in Barangay Benedicto, Jaro district.
He was 42-year-old Rommel Castillano, a resident of the village, police said.
Prior to his apprehension, Castillano allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,000 around 9 p.m. on Oct. 20.
Recovered from his possession were three sachets of the prohibited substance and drug paraphernalia.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station, the suspect faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
