SAN JOSE, Antique – The provincial government of Antique is planning to build a new government center which will house all the offices and agencies of the provincial government.

“Our old building is already congested and we have a small parking space. Ang sangka individual, when they do business, dyan run tanan (in the new government center). It will be a one-stop business complex area,” said Gov. Rhodora Cadiao.

The prospect location for the new government center is in Barangay Supa, San Jose and the initial plan is to complete the construction by 2022. But Cadiao said the provincial government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic remains the priority.

The provincial government is eyeing to purchase a property in Barangay Supa for the government center by March of 2021 and will start with the project when the COVID-19 situation in the province has been fully managed. (Macky Torrechilla/PN)
