Roxas starts using QR code today for COVID tracing

ROXAS City – The city government starts implementing today a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) contact tracing scheme using quick response (QR) codes.

According to Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, it will be piloted at city hall, as suggested by the city’s COVID-19 Command Center.

“Dry run pa lang ini. Sa tion nga preparado na ang tanan, igaimplementar man ini sa mga pribado nga establishmento,” said Dadivas.

He underscored that this is another measure against the spread of the disease.

Dadivas reminded the people to continue wearing facemask and face shield, observe physical distancing and wash hands with soap and water or disinfectant./PN
