PANITAN, Capiz – A 37-year-old man in Barangay Salocon tried to end his life by hanging himself using a rope around his neck.
Just in time, a nephew discovered what his uncle was up to and sought help.
Responding policemen revived the man by performing CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) on him then took him to a hospital for further treatment, said Police Corporal Mark Rendon of the Panitan police station.
