ILOILO City – Charged with five counts of malversation of public funds, a woman was arrested in Barangay Sablogon, Passi City.
The Passi City police served 70-year-old Ofelia Espinosa a warrant of arrest around 9:20 a.m. yesterday and took her to the municipal police station.
Espinosa – resident of Barangay Aglalana, Passi City – was also facing a charge for falsifying public documents.
Judge Vicente Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68 issued the warrant and set a bail of P72,000 each case./PN
