BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a man was apprehended in Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Jesmar Macasling, 20, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 9, police said.
His apprehension was carried out on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 55 in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The suspect was detained in the Bago City police station. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
