ILOILO City – Police nabbed a man for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Tulatula-an, Dingle, Iloilo.
An improvised 12-gauge shotgun loaded with live bullets was confiscated from 47-year-old resident Ludy Calde around 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, police said.
Calde’s apprehension was staged on the strength of a search warrant.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Dingle municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against him./PN
