ROXAS City – The police here confirmed having identified a person of interest in the shooting of a 42-year-old man in Sitio Switch, Barangay Adlawan on Dec. 6.
According to Police Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, they have secured a video footage of the crime from a security camera near where the shooting took place.
Victim Regie Gacol was attacked around 6:35 p.m. by motorcycle-riding gunmen as he was walking to a sari-sari store a few meters away from his house.
Arcangeles said the video showed the gunmen seemingly casing the neighborhood prior to the shooting. He, however, did not identify the person of interest.
Responding policemen recovered spent bullet shells of a .45 pistol.
Gacol succumbed to two gunshot wounds on the chest, one on the face and one on an arm./PN
