BACOLOD City – A man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 10, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Police Major Jigger Gimeno, Talisay City police chief, identified him as Alexander Estilo Jr., a resident of the village.
Prior to his apprehension, the 25-year-old sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P300.
Eight more sachets of the prohibited substance worth P17,000 and cash amounting to P900 were seized during his arrest around 3:50 p.m. on Jan. 14.
The suspect was detained in the Talisay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
