BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 17 grams were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mandalagan.
The 31-year-old resident Albert Oñates yielded the prohibited substance valued at around P115,600, a police report showed.
Antidrug operatives of Police Station 4 staged the entrapment which led to Oñates’ apprehension around 9:45 p.m. on Jan. 14.
When frisked, the suspect also yielded P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
