ROXAS City – Good news to all job hires of the local government unit of Tapaz, Capiz.
The information office of the municipal government announced that there would be a 75 percent increase in the daily wage of all job hires.
From the P200 daily rate since 2016, their new daily rate will be P350 – or P7,000 a month.
The increase is effective this month.
As of December 2020, the municipality of Tapaz had a total of 262 job hire / casual employees.
Some 90 Tapaz Security Force personnel are also included in the salary increase.
Tapaz is a first-class municipality of Capiz province. According to the 2015 census, it had a population of 51,313 people.
Tapz has 58 barangays – 36 are in the lowlands and 22 are upland./PN
