HAMTIC, Antique – A concerned citizen and a gas station attendant placed under citizen’s arrest a tricycle driver they believed was trying to shanghai a goat.
The 56-year-old Nicolas Villajin of Barangay Calala here was taken to the municipal police station.
According to the police, Villajin was seen attempting to take a goat grazing by the roadside in Barangay Poblacion 2 past noon on Jan. 30 and boarding it in his tricycle.
His tricycle was impounded.
The goat, on the other hand, was safely returned to its owner./PN
