BACOLOD City – Police nabbed two men transporting lumber without permit in Barangay 14, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Felix Aligado, 21, and Reynald Talaban, 28, were both residents of the village, a police report showed.
The suspects were caught driving two motorcycles loaded with undocumented lumber around 8:40 p.m. on Feb. 1, police said.
Aligado and Talaban were taken to the Victorias City police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 705, or the Forestry Reform Code of the Philippines./PN
