
Six out of 31 local government units in the province of Negros Occidental recorded zero active cases of COVID-19.
Based on the COVID-19 bulletin of the provincial government, the local government units with zero cases of the viral disease as of Feb. 10 were the towns of Binalbagan, Candoni, Ilog , La Castellana, Pulupandan and the city of Himamaylan.
On the other hand, the City of San Carlos, had the highest number of active COVID-19 cases in Negros Occidental with 21, followed by Silay City with nine and Escalante City with six.
Since March 2020 until Feb. 10 this year, Negros Occidental logged 6,736 cases of the viral disease with 215 deaths.
