BACOLOD City – A man was arrested for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Guiljungan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
The 21-year-old Jed Angelo Jardinero was caught firing a .45-caliber pistol around 9 a.m. on March 16, a police report showed.
Policemen of Cauayan seized the firearm and took Jardinero into custody.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, will be filed against the suspect./PN
