BACOLOD City – A drinking spree in Barangay Caningay, Candoni, Negros Occidental led to the fatal stabbing of a 46-year-old man.
Police identified the fatality as Mamerto Pedregosa.
Tagged suspect was his neighbor Efren Escorde Jr.
According the police, the knife-wielding Escorde attacked Pedregosa around 10 p.m. on March 19.
Policemen of Candoni launched a hot pursuit operation against the suspect who fled after the incident./PN
