ILOILO City – Three persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Cubay, San Enrique, Iloilo.
They were residents Sharmaine Jamolangue, 33; Renato Lacse, 64; and Nona Palabrica, 61, a police report showed.
Police caught them playing tong-its around 4 p.m. on March 27.
Recovered from the suspects’ possession were two decks of playing cards and P230 bet money.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the San Enrique police station, facing charges for violating Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling./PN
