MANILA –Despite being out of the public eye for two weeks, President Rodrigo Duterte is still updated of what is happening in the country and continues to do his duty in silence, Palace said.

The President was not seen in public seen March 29, when he personally welcomed the arrival of Sinovac’s coronavirus disease 2019 vaccines at the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City.

Queries about Duterte’s health surfaced last week after his “Talk ToThe People” was cancelled and members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) were infected with COVID-19.

To quash the rumors, Sen. Christopher Go posted photos and videos of the President walking, jogging, riding a motorcycle, and playing golf in the Palace compound.

Roque, meanwhile, said the issuance of medical bulletin is irrelevant since Duterte is not ill and he continues to discharge his functions./PN
