BACOLOD City – In Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, Negros Occidental, a male and female were caught selling alleged illegal drugs.
They were resident Joel Reveche Jr., 22, and Ellyza Joy Garzon, 23, of Barangay San Miguel, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The suspects initially sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P500 around 8:35 p.m. on April 19, police said.
Eleven more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P68,000 were recovered from their possession.
The two were detained in the lockup facility of the San Enrique police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
