NEW WASHINGTON, Aklan – In Barangay Poblacion here on April 23, a man charged with committing violence against women and children was arrested.
Jerson Meñoto, 39, was a resident of Barangay Poblacion.
His warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Bienvenido Barrios Jr. of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 3.
Meñoto was specifically charged with violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against W omen and Their Children Act of 2004.
The court recommended no bail bond for Meñoto’s temporary liberty.
