
Bacolod City – Around P3.4 million worth of alleged illegal drugs was seized in a drug bust operation in the Municipality of Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bacolod and the Murcia Municipal Police Station led the operation.
Officials identified the suspects as Reylan Artus, 31, of Manapla, Negros Occidental; and Justine Ledesma, 18, of Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
According to the PDEA, the third suspect, Andrew Ledesma, managed to escape.
The operation was conducted at 7:45 p.m. on May 4, at ABL and Sons Farm, Purok Lacson, Barangay Alegria in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Authorities recovered P12, 500 worth of buy bust money, 50 grams of suspected shabu, and a weighing scale.
Charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects./PN
