BACOLOD City – A wanted man in Pampanga was arrested in Barangay Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 37-year-old Chris Vecinal is facing carnapping charges, police said.
Caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 4 p.m. on May 26, Vecinal was taken to the 2nd Negros Occidental Police Mobile Force Company custodial facility.
Judge Amor Dimatatac-Romero of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 50 in Guagua, Pampanga issued the warrant on Sept. 20, 2010.
She recommended a P180,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
