BACOLOD City – A resident was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manghanoy, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old Ranjet Rico yielded a sachet of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and a homemade .38 revolver load with bullets, a police report showed.
The suspect was taken to the La Castellana police station around 9 p.m. on May 26.
He would be charged with violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act)./PN
