BACOLOD City – After 17 years of searching, police finally arrested a rape suspect in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Fifty-nine-year-old Federico Kerido De Assis of Purok Riverside, Barangay Banago here was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 8:15 p.m. on May 26.
Executive Judge Renato Muñez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 60 (Cadiz City) issued the arrest warrant on March 29, 2004.
No bail bond was recommended for the temporary liberty of the suspect who was detained at the Cadiz City police station./PN
