
For the second time, Sarah Geronimo represented the Philippines at the ASEAN-Japan Music Fest which happened virtually on Saturday, June 5.
“I’m glad to represent my country, the Philippines, in the ASEAN Music Festival for the second time. Thank you very much for this opportunity. I am truly honored to be a part of this,” she said in her video introduction during the virtual event.
In her message, the Popstar Royalty highlighted the universal power of music, to inspire and heal.
“Music is a universal language that speaks to our soul through every stage of life. Music is very powerful. It can heal a wounded heart, uplift one’s spirit and bring renewed hope. I do hope our music and performances can be a source of inspiration for all of you,” she stated.
Sarah performed Ikot-Ikot and Isa Pang Araw at the event.
The singer first performed at the ASEAN-Japan Music Fest in 2018 in Tokyo. She performed Tala and Kilometro that time.(Push)
