BACOLOD City – Four residents of Barangay Agpangi, Calatrava, Negros Occidental face charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449, or the Cockfighting Law of 1974.
Police said they chanced upon suspects Arnulfo Daniel, 18; Anselmo Roma, 41; Joeven Albiar, 31; and Jhoed Aranduque, 33, engaging in illegal cockfighting in the town’s Barangay Cabungahan.
Recovered from the suspects around 5 p.m. on June 27 were three game fowls, a gaff and P650 cash.
The men were taken to the Calatrava police station./PN
