BACOLOD City – The towns of Binalbagan, Calatrava and Cauayan in Negros Occidental got new police chiefs following a reshuffling at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO).
Police Captain Ellendie Rebusquillo replaced Police Major Fernando Somblingo Jr. at the Binalbagan police station, effective July 1.
Somblingo is now assigned at the NOCPPO headquarters as deputy of the Provincial Operations Management Unit (POMU).
Meanwhile, effective July 2, Police Lieutenant Colonel Rollie Pondevilla became the new Calatrava police station chief replacing Police Major Robert Indiape Jr., who was reassigned to the provincial police headquarters.
In Cauayan, Police Lieutenant Colonel Norberto Barniso was assigned as officer-in-charge replacing Police Lieutenant Colonel Lowell Garinganao, whose new assignment is as chief of the Human Rights Affairs Office of NOCPPO.
The turnover was held at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. here on July 1 and 2.
Meanwhile, Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Evan Salvo was installed as chief of the Provincial Administrative and Resource Management Unit of the NOCPPO.
He was previously assigned at the Iloilo City Police Office./PN
