ILOILO City – Three persons were jailed. They were caught in an alleged illegal cockfighting in Barangay Igbong, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
Ronald Semillano and Rene Semillano were residents of Barangay Igbong while Bernardo Buensuseso was from Barangay Tiwi, also in Barotac Nuevo.
Police recovered three game fowls and P500 around 12:30 p.m. on July 9.
Charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449 (Cockfighting Law of 1974) would be filed against them./PN
