ILOILO City – The village chief of Barangay Ubos Ilawod, Miag-ao, Iloilo was arrested on Saturday.
Peter Pastoral, 48, was taken to the Miag-ao police station around 7:30 p.m.
Police caught him wielding a .38 revolver loaded with six bullets during a commotion.
Pastoral failed to present pertinent documents of the gun.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act would be filed against Pastoral./PN
