BACOLOD City – Armed with a warrant of arrest, police caught two persons in Barangay Rafaela Barrera, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Danilo Docil, 48, and Rodolfo Lobaton, 64, were charged with violating the cockfighting law, police said.
Judge Jose Meno Ruiz of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (Escalante City, Negros Occidental) issued the arrest warrant on July 5, 2021.
The suspects were taken to the police station on July 19.
The court recommended a P30,000 bail bond each for their temporary liberty./PN
