CULASI, Antique – Eight persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) and 12 personnel of the Culasi District Jail in Barangay Centro Poblacion here were subjected to a surprise drug test by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Aug. 16.
All of them tested negative for illegal drugs, according to Jail Inspector Josue Ma R. Estorque, warden.
The PDLs and jail personnel submitted urine samples for analysis.
PDEA observed health safety protocols throughout the drug testing – wearing of facemask and social distancing.
The testing was part of the post-operation phase of the Culasi District Jail as a drug-cleared facility./PN
