More Iloilo establishments to open under GCQ

ILOILO – Starting Oct. 16, this province shifts to the more relaxed general community quarantine (GCQ).

More establishments are expected to open in accordance with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging (IATF) guidelines, said Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr.

He is issuing an executive order today (Oct. 15) detailing the guidelines for the operation of establishments under GCQ.

“Ang relevant provision of quarantine measures is the operation of establishments. Under GCQ, ang leeway mo sa non-essential establishments is wider,” said Defensor.

“We will start a new campaign for the minimum health standards and reverse isolation,” said Defensor.
