BACOLOD City – A 73-year-old man was charged with violation of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
Police served a warrant of arrest to Virgilio Aral in Barangay 2, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental around 11:50 a.m. on Nov. 9.
The suspect was detained at the Kabankalan City police station.
Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61 recommended an P80,000 bail bond for Aral’s temporary liberty./PN
