ILOILO City – Three persons were arrested on Thursday in Barangay Binanua-an, lgbaras, Iloilo.
Police chanced upon them engaging in alleged illegal cockfighting around 11:40 a.m.
Several roosters were recovered from Ruben Estremer, Antonio Pepito Jr. and Antonio Elambayo, a police report showed.
The suspects were detained at the Igbaras police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449, or the Cockfighting Law of 1974./PN
