BACOLOD City – A zumba instructor from Barangay Narauis, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental was shot to death by an unidentified gunman at a grocery store in Barangay IV (Poblacion) there at about 8:18 a.m. on Aug. 18.
Clint James Tomazar, 30, was shot on the head at close range.
As of press time, the Hinigaran police has yet to name any suspect.
According to witnesses, the gunman fled after shooting Tomazar.
The victim was taken to the Hinigaran Medical Clinic by the Hinigaran Rescue Team. He was declared dead by attending physician Dr. Karem Estomata.
Policemen recovered from the crime scene a fired cartridge case of a .45 caliber pistol and Tomazar’s cellular phone.
Witnesses described the gunman as slim and wearing a stripe t-shirt, a pair of brown tactical pants and a dark-colored baseball cap./PN
