IT’S BEEN more than100 days since he took his oath of office as the 17th President of the republic. Time seems to fly when the universe is on your side and everything falls into place.
From all indications it promises to be a successful initial foray despite the continuous efforts by the usual suspects to undermine and derail President Bongbong Marcos’ administration.
This good start will most probably continue and more in the coming six years which will benefit the country and most Filipinos except the usual suspects.
Whatever good President Bongbong Marcos does it will always be the opposite for the usual suspects. Nothing will satisfy them unless it falls within their “unselfless” narrative, preferably colored “pink” or “yellow”.

Pulse Asia’s September 2022 Nationwide Survey on Urgent Concerns and the Performance Ratings of the National Administration on Selected Issues showed that appreciation was the majority sentiment toward the present administration’s work in:
* calamity response (78%)
* controlling the spread of COVID-19 (78%)
* promoting peace in the country (69%)
* protecting the welfare of overseas Filipino workers (68%)
* fighting criminality (67%)
* law enforcement (62%)
* creating more jobs (59%)
* increasing workers’ pay (59%)
* fighting graft and corruption in government (58%)
* environment protection (57%)
* defense of the country’s territorial integrity (52%)

Marcos admin gets high approval ratings iIn Pulse Asia survey
The administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. got high approval ratings from Filipinos for its handling of several key issues, results of a Pulse Asia survey released on Thursday showed.
According to Pulse Asia, the Marcos administration received majority approval ratings on 11 of the 13 issues on which its performance was assessed in September 2022.
The Pulse Asia survey was conducted from September 17 to 21 and had 1,200 respondents nationwide. It had a 2.8% error margin and a 95% confidence level.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Marcos believes that he has successfully assembled a “functional” government composed of the best and the brightest Cabinet members in his first 100 days in office.
Not bad at all. In fact it’s good, a very laudable performance by the son and namesake of the “hated dictator” who has been maligned with everything, including throwing the proverbial kitchen sink and the septic tank.
President Bongbong Marcos took it all in stride with a cool demeanor, never stooping down to the cesspool level of the “pink/yellow” brand of politics; he just did what he is supposed to do and came out with flying colors.
Meanwhile, President Bongbong Marcos on Oct. 10, signed Republic Act No. 11934 otherwise known as the SIM Card Registration Act, the first law he signed as the country’s chief executive.
And that got the usual suspects i.e. Renato Reyes, Raoul Manuel and the remnants of the so-called Makabayan block in Congress now aptly called Kagat squirming in their red colored knickers with their boring narrative that it is an invasion of privacy.
The SIM Registration Act does not intrude into your privacy. If you’re a member of SSS, GSIS or the DSWD 4Ps all your details are already there in government. So what’s the problem unless you’re planning to commit crime using your mobile phone or overthrow the government? And by the way, it takes a court order to even take a peep into your telephone conversations.
On a personal note, President Bongbong Marcos is one cool bloke. In fact he’s probably the coolest president we ever had; lived in London during the hip ‘70s, hung out with the Rolling Stones (most likely got drunk or high with them), an F1 racing fan, and he’s into the blues, took some time off as president to watch a live Eric Clapton concert.
