BACOLOD City – An estimated P1.5 million worth of property and belongings turned into ashes following a blaze in Purok Kaingin, Barangay Punta Taytay in this city early yesterday morning.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Bacolod City received a fire call around 3:23 a.m. from the house owned by Rodolfo Ramos.

Firefighters arrived within minutes with the blaze already at “first alarm” status. A “fire out” was declared around 30 minutes later.

No one died, although three members of the Ramos family sustained slight burn injuries.

Arson investigators were still probing the incident as of this writing./PN
