ROXAS City – A gasoline boy and a cashier of a gasoline station were robbed and shot by motorcycle riding-in-tandem suspects in broad daylight on Monday in Barangay Lawaan in this city.
The victims were pump boy Jovel Alparaque of Angelville Subdivision, Barangay San Jose here and Rodora Dorado Vinson, cashier and a resident of Barangay 11.
Police said Vinson was riding a tricycle driven by Alparaque on their way to the City Proper when they were blocked by the suspects. The former had with her an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victims allegedly refused to part with the bag and box containing money, and this prompted one of the suspects to shoot them.
Alparaque sustained a gunshot wound on his stomach while Vinson was hit on her hand.
The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment. They are now in stable condition.
