BACOLOD City – A man with a previous drug case was shot dead in a computer shop in Purok Langis, Barangay Banago.
The 26-year-old Edcel Mike Diaz was a resident of Barangay Granada, also in this city.
Police Captain Armilyn Vargas, station commander of Police Station 3, said Diaz was previously arrested on drug-related charges but was released after securing a plea bargain.
A lone gunman entered the establishment and shot Diaz point-blank on Monday morning, April 24, initial police investigation showed.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old John Divinagracia, a resident of Purok Langis, Barangay Banago, was hit on his foot with a stray bullet.
Vargas said they already have a person of interest behind the shooting./PN
